Summary
He couldn't deny his place as Luffy’s cook. He would never deny it. But he didn't understand it, the full weight of it, until he’d been standing in front of his captain, gasping for air with a basket torn and soaked with rainwater in hand. When he set before him a bento box full of food laden with mud and grime to the point of being inedible and Luffy smiled.
He ate every scrap with the biggest grin on his face, like it was the best meal he'd ever had.
And Sanji just…realized.

Luffy could hear the world around him, and he loved his people, but they could not hear him, and they could not see him any more than he could make out the details of their faces through the eternal, blinding sunlight. Luffy could get so close to his people, but he couldn’t interact with them, no matter how much he longed to.
Luffy was lonely.
Then the Dark Day came, and he wasn't anymore.

Summary
It was no secret to the entire hospital staff at Grand Line General that their Chief of Cardio, Dr. Trafalgar D. Water Law, was an insanely secretive man. Nobody knew anything about Dr. Trafalgar’s personal life, apart maybe from his closest colleagues (read: Bepo, Shachi, and Penguin), and apparently Dr. Trafalgar liked to keep it that way. He lauded the benefits of keeping work and personal life separate, and was an expert in changing the subject when questions directed to him started to dig deeper beyond his work and accomplishments as the best Cardiologist in the region, if not the country.
So it caused an absolute shockwave when news started going around that Dr. Trafalgar was apparently married.
