“Are you planning to keep my hair tie?” Iruka asked suddenly, a hint of amusement in his voice.
“I’m holding it prisoner for crimes against the citizens of Konoha.”
“What are the charges?”
Kakashi smiled, twirling the band around his forefinger like a kunai. “Perjury and willful concealment.”
Iruka huffed and shook his head, lips thinning in a way that made Kakashi think he was holding back a grin. “You know, if I’d realized you had such a thing for long hair, I would have started wearing mine down years ago.”
Kakashi’s thumb caught the hair band, halting its revolution.
“Years?”

Clark flipped a page in his notebook, and quickly adjusted his glasses. “I’ve got another question for you, that I hope-”
“Actually, Clark. If you don’t mind, I’m more interested to hear about you.”
Clark’s pen slowed on the paper before turning his attention to Bruce. “Me?!”
“Yes.” Bruce said, eying the reporter up and down. “Out of all the reporters I’ve spoken to tonight, you’re the only one who seems to care about my thoughts outside of a skincare routine or the lingering trauma of my youth. You’re more…” Bruce's eyes settled softly on Clark’s. “…genuine.”
A story in which Clark Kent meets Bruce Wayne at a Gala for interviews. Bruce decides the night will be better used by bringing Clark home with him.

Summary
Bruce’s fingers shift around Clark's bicep as if feeling for something. Clark watches as a myriad of emotions flutter through Bruce’s eyes, from suspicion to surprise to concern to suspicion again. Clark doesn’t know what to make of that. Did Bruce Wayne just…feel him up?
“Er, Mr. Wayne?”
Bruce retracts his hand like he's been burned. He shifts back into position, as if returning to his baseline state after mentally filing away some information. “I apologize, Mr. Kent. Thank you for your time today. Alfred will escort you out. Please have a safe trip back to Metropolis.”
Now it’s Clark’s turn to stare at him. “Uh…right. Have a good night, Mr. Wayne.” Bruce just stares back.
Yeah, Clark decides, Bruce Wayne is weird.
