Will just then found his mouth very dry and a lump set in his throat. Suddenly, all the words in his mouth died and he simply stared straight ahead.
“Will.” Max said softly after a few seconds. “Who’s grave is it?”
Will forced the lump down his throat as he answered her.
“It’s mine.”

It certainly wasn’t how much Will and his friends quickly became the school rebels, especially since Hellfire Club has to meet secretly due to it being banned, but Gareth Emerson, the only original member still in school, runs a good show as the new DM and leader, and he seems to have taken a liking to Will.
