Summary
Jolt didn't start as an expert on time, and he didn't dare call himself one now.
After roughly five thousand time loops that all resulted in Jolt's death, he's unable to forgive himself for some of the atrocities he committed. A promise to Primus and himself, Jolt tries to make up for every misdeed. Unknowingly, he earns himself a horde of very loyal and protective friends. Too bad he died again.
CW: I cannot stress enough that Jolt will not have a good mindset or habits, the boy is traumatized.

**Set post-C3** **Spoilers abound**
The world has become even more dangerous, especially for the Voice of the Tempest- someone is trying to eliminate her, each attempt coming closer to claiming her life. Vox Machina must reunite in a race against time to uncover the mastermind behind it all before one of the attacks succeeds.This work aims for canon compliance, but I may take some artistic liberties for the sake of the story. I'll be adding more characters to the tags as they appear in subsequent chapters.

She spent every day of her life following trajectories and mapping changes, one eye on the past and one on the future, so she ought to have seen this moment coming. And yet, somehow, she just… hadn’t.

Mira thought back to that day, one year and four months ago, when Lucy Heartfilia had left for that wretched mission. No one really paid attention to her leaving, thinking that they’d have more time with their Celestial mage upon her return. But they never did—from that day on to now, no one would see Lucy, or be able to talk to her, or hug her, or tell her they love her— and Mira knew that this ate away at the stoic blond.
What could he have said to have made her stay?
But she knew Laxus wasn’t the only one to think this. On the contrary, what could Mirajane have done to keep her safe?
Should’ve tried harder to convince her to stay, even if just another day. Should’ve been more insistent. Should’ve convinced Natsu to go with her, or Erza, or Gray.
Hell, even Laxus to further her matchmaking agenda, even if at the time, the two targets of her scheme would have immediately figured something was up.
Should have done this, should have done that. Should have done everything.
Those were the thoughts that plagued Fairy Tail for a year and four months now. They just got better at carrying its weight.
