Summary
When the TV series started airing, I was reminded of how unsatisfying I found Mat's romantic future in the book series, so I decided that I would write something where I snuck him into the Randland polycule. This series splits off from TV canon during S1E6: the Flame of Tar Valon, so everything that happens into the show prior to that is canon here, but from this point forward, I will be repurposing book canon to suit the needs of the story.

Summary
Walking forward, Mat took Rand’s free hand in his own; his grip was tighter than he meant it to be, but Rand didn’t seem to mind. When he smiled, it was tired, but there was a look beneath it that Mat thought he knew; it was the look of returning home after a long day. Of seeing your family safe. Of finally seeing your friend again after he’d been snowed-in up mountain all winter.

It takes a while, but Rand and Mat begin to realize that their home came with them when they left Emond's Field.

Vox stayed there, bent over him, waiting for the punchline. The sudden lunge, the last-minute twist. The part where Alastor opened his eyes and laughed and said "𝘋𝘪𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘪𝘵 𝘸𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘣𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘺, 𝘥𝘢𝘳𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨?"
Nothing.
No music. No lazy, amused commentary. No smile rebooting back onto his face.
Just a body cooling on cracked asphalt in what used to be the loudest city in Hell.
OR Vox spends a war trying to erase the one signal he never managed to control. In the ruins of Pentagram City, he finally kills Alastor… and discovers that the silence he wanted is worse than the noise.
(This was actually supposed to be a one shot but it unexpectedly got liked a lot so im making it into a serie now)

Dick rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly. “I’m mostly used to sparring with my little brothers, it’s kind of just habit, and I was having fun. I didn’t want the match to be over too quick.”
“Too quick?” Derek asked, eyebrows raised. “I’m twice your size, kid.”
Dick shrugged. “So’s Bruce and we’re pretty much tied at this point, or at least according to the score board the kids started to keep for Saturday spars.”
“Saturday spars?” Derek repeated, following him towards the locker room.
Dick flashed him a smile. “What? Don’t have any weird family traditions?”
“Not ones that include hitting each other,” Derek said
OR The BAU gets a probationary profiler who is a little more than he appears at first glance. Or second. Or third. Just how many secrets can Dick Grayson be hiding from a team full of profilers?
