No, Tim never wanted to hurt Dick.
But the hostages were still in danger and there was already too much blood that surrounded him now and the darkness was creeping ever closer.

The air is hot around Leon as he chokes on smoke and ash, the child in his arms still sobbing and coughing into the rag he'd tied hastily over the bottom half of her face as he crawls on his hands and knees through the flaming hallways of the apartment building. He's not wearing any of his equipment, just the sweats and t-shirt he'd had on at home, the fire alarm and resulting evacuation of his own building not giving him time or resources to don his firefighting gear and gas mask. -

Watching via video link sent to them after Mac was taken, Riley finds herself fixated on one specific detail of the whole horrible situation: Mac's hands. He's been restrained in such a way that he can't move them at all, and the sight of it is enough to nearly make her sick.
Finding him is the easy part. Getting the mess of handcuffs and duct tape off when Mac's almost too drugged and freaked out to realize who they are? Not so much.

This does not go well for Vox Machina, generally. It goes even worse for Percy, specifically.
Alone, cut off from his party, and being hunted by creatures more dangerous even than the Chroma Conclave, it will take everything Percy has just to survive.

He sounds grim. That's never a good sign, but Leon's focusing too much on the jelly his knees have turned into to give it much thought. All he can do is put one foot in front of the other, chin coming down to rest against his chest when it gets too hard to hold his head up.Bookmarked by ThreeRavens

Jack casually slips the hand on Mac’s head down, cradling his cheek. His thumb brushes away the tear, using the leverage to tilt Mac’s lax head towards and upwards to him. “Gotta stay with me, Mac, you ain’t leavin’ without me, man, you know that.”
Blood slowly seeping from the cracked corners of his mouth, Mac doesn’t reply, or if he does, it’s lost in the roar of helo blades and updraft winds.Series
