Within less than half an hour what Lie Zhanying got was the Young Master of Langya Hall, dressed for travelling and with an expression on his face which caused all the acolytes within the vicinity hurriedly finding themselves something to be very, very busy about.

Summary
More than 70,000 people died at Meiling with only a dozen survivors. Mei Changsu was one of them. He survived the Chiyan Army massacre at Meiling, survived the poison of bitter flame, and continued to survive long enough to demand justice for the army from the corrupt capital city.
A sign of how corrupt the capital had become is the common understanding by the nobility that only Lin Shu could have the character to desire that justice and the skill to demand it. Who else among the *70,000* dead, could have accomplished such a thing?
Mei Changsu doesn't bother denying it.
