    Midoriya Hisashi cries tears of relief when a 5 year old Izuku looks him in the eyes and tells him:
    "I'm quirkless."
    Then, he forces his son to swear that he'll survive - to care for Inko, if nothing else - and it's a demand that Izuku is too young to understand and all too eager to accept.

    Midoriya Hisashi is 29 years old when he dies the next morning; killed by his own quirk.

    It takes 5 more years for Izuku to begin to regret making that promise, and only 3 more after that for a girl, older than him, and with much sharper canines, to ask him if it's worth it: to live a life of suffering in the name of an exhausted mother and a dead man.
    Apparently, he gives the wrong answer, as Himiko Toga laughs in his face, and tells him it absolutely isn't- and they exchange contacts.

    So, Izuku is 13 years old when he blackmails the staff of Aldera Middle, and Katsuki, for his own peace of mind, and decides:
    If he's going to be a hero, he might as well make himself untouchable, and make some connections early.

    (On a totally unrelated note: both Mr. and Mrs. Bakugou are delighted by his sudden interest in the fashion industry!)

    Opinion and Summary:
    Basically one of the most well written fanfictions I've read. The way they made both Inko and Himiko into more fully fleshed out characters with actual backstories is wonderful since I love world building. What they did with Hisashi was both tragic and great since it actually made him useful for the plot and story.

    Hopeful for the future to see how the Author will handle making Midoriya a model before making him a hero.

    Midoriya's father was actually present for his early childhood before dying to quirk related causes. This changes alot and leads to Izuku almost snapping and meeting Himiko, who helps repair his relationship with his mother. They both come to see her as family. That's my very brief summary of the story so far.

    Izuku's Quirk is... rare, to say the least. Sentient Quirks on their own are already rare enough, but to have essentially eight in one? Talk about winning the genetic lottery.

    Even weirder is the fact that they're so ridiculously powerful.

    They say that a carp that climbs a waterfall can become a dragon. They say that a person with a useless quirk cannot become a hero. They say a lot of things, but Midoriya Izumi has never shied away from a challenge. Her quirk might be useless, her transformation might be pitiful and weak, but she is going to climb as many fucking waterfalls as she has to- both literal and metaphorical- until she becomes a dragon and achieves her dreams.

    Or: Midoriya Izumi turns into a koi fish. Through her own hard work, she becomes a DRAGON.

    When Midoriya Izuku asks All Might if he can be a hero without a Quirk, the Symbol of Peace says 'Yes.'

    Midoriya Izuku did develop a quirk. However this quirk makes it so nobody can truly see him or remember him if they do. He ends up committing Vigilantism via kicking a villain in the nuts.

    Honestly, just a fun little oneshot, it's worth a few giggles at least.
