When monsters descend from the sky, you hide away and wait for a savior to come to your aid. When no one does, you find it in you to be that savior.
A monster hides beneath a man's guise, a plot is afoot and the end is nigh. Will fate be changed or will the survivors be damned?

Made to watch her mother die and forced to live in a world that was, as far as it mattered to her, run by demons, drones who seemed to hate her no matter what she did, and a father who was the textbook definition of a neglectful parent, life was never easy for Uzi Doorman.
Especially since for seemingly no reason her own body seemed keen to turn against her too, forcing her to commit to acts that drove her to self isolation.
Still, it could get worse, as Uzi would soon learn when the final straw was laid out upon the camel's back, and what little Uzi had left in her life worth holding onto crumbled around her. -

Summary
Alone and buried in a mound of corpses, a drone awoke. This fic is a prequel story set at Elliot Manor from the perspective of Cyn, as we just don't seem to get enough of her POV on AO3.

Tessa James Elliott survived the Elliott Manor Massacre. After telling her tale to the corporation that constructed the drone that killed so many, rather than silencing her, they sent her on a mission to find the truth of what caused the incident; the 'Absolute Solver' that was responsible for so much bloodshed. Together, her and her repurposed machines N, V and J were sent to the abandoned exoplanet 'Copper 9' to retrieve and destroy any remaining traces of the project.

Summary
Khan dies not too long after Nori, and Uzi is left alone. The drone child quickly falls into disrepair, becoming rusted and glitchy. Uzi is only barely able to survive, she is forced to change herself in ways no Worker Drone ever has before.

While still figuring out how to regulate the Solver Uzi suddenly starts to see a hallucination of Cyns old drone body. Against her expectations however this Cyn isn't merely a hallucination - but a manifestation of the true Cyn before she became a Zombie Drone visible to Uzi through the Solvers corrupted code.
