Summary
“Sometimes in war, it's hard to be the one that survives.”
Gotham isn’t a war. Jason isn’t a soldier. But the streets are still a battlefield, and a return doesn’t feel like much of a return at all.
(or, Jason experiences a traumatic event, cries in his shitty shower, finds his way to Wayne Manor, and finds Bruce. maybe, if he's lucky, in that order)

Summary
Two Justice Leagues converge in one single universe. One key difference quickly makes itself apparent.
(or, the Justice League of Earth is brought to a universe where a parallel version of the League doesn’t have a Batman; instead, they have the Arkham Prince)

Summary
Alfred will always ensure Wayne Manor is well-protected. Even if it means dipping into skills he amassed for an entirely different profession.
(or, the one where Bruce Wayne is a former doctor turned blissful soccer dad of seven, Alfred is a butler-grandfather who got in way too deep, and Wayne Manor is the safest place in Gotham for a reason)

Summary
Bruce Wayne was a large man. He had a sharp-eyed charm that left the weak-willed dazzled and the strong-willed suspicious. He was dragon in all passable ways -- fierce, defensive of his charitable interests -- and yet failed to impress in others. He had no hoard; there was no evidence, on camera or in a witness account, of him ever having shifted.
Everyone who met him walked away with a shiver of something down their spine, uncertain what it meant. Thomas Wayne had set off the soft, human instincts and soothed them in the same breath, so visibly dragon -- and apologetic, at points -- as to be disarming.
Bruce Wayne apologized for nothing. He simply was. His teeth were sharp, his eyes even sharper, and he stared at those with opposing interests in a way that conveyed his delight in their confusion. In their inability to believe their own eyes and senses when that drowsy, long-disused human survival instinct woke in the back of their minds at the sound of his voice.

Summary
Obi-Wan doesn't usually get assigned investigative missions, but he's pretty sure the people being investigated aren't supposed to drop their blasters and surrender immediately.
Thorne flinches. “Well no offense to you, Kiffar, but this one—” He gestures at Obi-Wan. “Olen broke the rule, pointing a blaster at him, nevermind actually hitting him.”
“The rule?” Obi-Wan asks, flabbergasted. He looks at Quinlan, who is just as baffled.
“I certainly never pointed a blaster,” Thorne continues, loud, as if he’s hoping someone will overhear him.
“Now that you mention it, I am a little offended,” Quinlan says.

Summary
Then, Clark’s eyes met his, and he pulled away so quickly that the sound of his retreat whipped through the air. His face, for a moment, was startlingly open, and naked grief cracked harshly through his expression like a fist shattering the surface of a frozen lake. Then, it was gone, and the slate was wiped clean as though there had been nothing but a mild smile there since the very beginning.
But Bruce knew what he’d seen.
“How long?” he asked.
Clark’s mouth twisted. “I don’t know why I thought I’d be able to keep it from you,” he said softly. “You know me too well. Was that even five minutes?”
“Clark.”
Clark’s lips turned up into a smile, fracturing his face, his eyes glittering shards of lapis lazuli. “How long for what?” he asked. “For how long we were married? Or for how long it’s been since you died?”

Summary
It was uncomfortable for Obi-Wan to acknowledge it, but the words meat-droid hit far too close to home where Commander Cody was concerned.
Commander Cody is reconditioned before he is deployed for the first time. Obi-Wan has never known him to be otherwise.
No one has any hope for getting him back, not even his batchmates. Reconditioning is permanent. Isn't it? Then a battle gone wrong changes everything.
