Summary
When the Rash Illness spread to Australia, even the most remote areas were touched. How might the folk in the wilder parts of the Outback have coped? This is the tale of one of the marngits of the Myrning tribe who inhabit the part of the Nullarbor Plain nearest the Great Australian Bight. The Myrning are a people who even in our day have retained their tradition of magic, and maintain also a tradition of interaction and communication with the great whales of the Bight.

Summary
AU set in Silent Finland after the Kade is dealt with and the team plus Onni (who by this point might as well be part of the team) are recovering from their efforts and injuries in an isolated farmstead, with the help of Russu, a young Finnish mage who has survived against all odds with the help of her late older relatives, good tech planning and some allied landspirits. I think I wrote this for one of the Chapter Break Fillers or some such around 2020.
What has come before this is that when Russu heard their story and realised that the Swan is grateful for Onni’s help and has left Tuuri with them, she volunteers to share her body and mindspace with Tuuri in the same way that Emil opened his Haven to Lalli when Lalli was flung from his body by the effort of destroying that giant at the old dock, only Russu and Tuuri are sufficiently compatible that the arrangement can be permanent.
The recipe Mikkel and Russu are preparing is an old one, and is one of my own favourite desserts.

Summary
Story is set in Gippsland, Australia, and it was written for the last chapter break filler. It is an AU set in the universe of Minna Sundberg’s ‘Stand Still Stay Silent’ webcomic. An Australian bushman, hunter and protomage goes hunting, meets his first Beast and acquires a quoll. This story will be continued as part of the Very Far to the South’ series.

This was written originally for the 2016 SSSS Fic Exchange, in response to a prompt of LooNEY DAC's: A thousand years after the onset of the Rash Illness. The reason for the 'character death' tags is that it's a thousand years in the future. All the characters have died. Repeatedly. Now matters are finally being sorted out.....

Sequel to Kasvatus and Dispatches from Keuruu. Just like its predecessors, it's a fic about love - romantic, familial, and other forms. It's also still a tiny bit about sheep, as well as embalmed historical figures, Finnish folk music, condensed milk, backwoods sauna, and the occasional petrol bomb.
