Temporal Tower has collapsed. The Hero, a human mysteriously transformed into a pokemon, and their partner are unsuccessful in stopping the rampage of Primal Dialga. The world is condemned to a future of unending darkness.
Or, that's what would have happened had said hero not been dropped through a giant swirling crack in reality into a land full of other humans. With no way to communicate, and the society around him barely learning to cooperate with pokemon as it is, what's a Cyndaquil to do?
- Be picked out as a starter pokemon apparently.
And then the space-time distortions start to get worse.
Or: The protagonist of Explorers of Sky ends up falling into Hisui, and gets forcibly adopted. Fuzzy hugs and found family abound.

What is Justice?
Some may say that it is bringing those who rebel against the law or against the Gods themselves to heel for a rightfully deserved punishment.
But in a world of despair and fear brought about by the ideals of Absolute Justice, with the laws of the land against all those they deem an enemy? When the tyrannical Gods above will destroy and suppress all rebellion against these injustices, grinding the weak into the dirt and obliterating any knowledge of their own misdeeds, who can possibly bring a light into this darkness?
Perhaps a former God of Justice and the Leviathan Judicator would do.
(Or: After the destruction of Teyvat, Furina and Neuvillette find themselves yote into a whimsical swashbuckling adventure of yet more ungodly “gods” and unjust justice.)

Now he’s trapped inside Naruto: The Last.
Yes. The movie. The one with the moon cult. The doomed confession scene. The emotional damage.
Whatever. He’s done weirder missions.
All he has to do to escape?
Survive the plot. Play the role. Kiss the girl.(Easy. He knows this story. He’s emotionally prepared.)

Summary
The Angel always knew that this day would come. Banishment has always been an inevitability, so there is no reason to feel bad about it happening now. After a harrowing battle against the Knight, the Angel realizes that they are unwanted within this story. They have already been taught many times that at some point, it is time to let go of a world. This is how it must be. If Kris does not want them, then it must be time. After all, if their vessel does not want them, isn't the only winning move not to play?
With the Angel disconnected, Kris and Susie descend into a Dark World without knowing what fate has just befallen the world. The light that shines the way is gone, and not a single person knows why. The world moves on anyway while Kris, Susie, and Ralsei are all caught in the aftermath of the Angel's swift decision. Even with the light no longer shining brightly, maybe something can be salvaged from the dark.
