And the orb is glowing out sweet and white like it could easily be used to keep away the dark in a child’s nursery. It’s so welcoming. Like Dean could just reach out, out, and catch that gentleness in his hands without any sort of consequence.
“Hello, Dean,” the orb hums.

Castiel see's his arranged marriage as the end of the line, and Dean is desperate to stop Sam from getting hitched to the wrong woman, when Cas' wedding gets interrupted by a confused, but well intentioned Winchester, he see's this as an opportunity to break out from under his families thumb and start fresh, even if that means running away with the guy who kidnapped him from the altar...

Summary
MK began to wash the shampoo out of Red Son’s hair, using one hand to pour water out of the basin and the other to block the soap from slipping down into his eyes. It was a small act, but one that showed a careful attention to detail that MK rarely showed to anything at all. It was the sort of sweet gesture that told Red Son he was cared for by MK, that he was loved.
“Oh.” He whispered. “I’m hallucinating you.”
(Or, MK takes care of a very sick Red Son and tries to convince him that he’s not a hallucination. Canon compliant up to Season 3)
