Summary

Marc Spector has been hurt and let down by his mother his entire life. And yet his alter Steven Grant still calls her every day and loves her dearly – is it all merely delusion? What if he actually had a mother that was looking after and caring for him? Even if it was just an alter taking over that role?
Going to university, making friends, dating the woman of his dreams – Steven Grant had given up the hope of doing any of those things when he settled in that dingy apartment in London, getting bullied every day at work in the museum gift shop. Learning that he had a serious mental disorder should’ve been a shock – and it was. But Marc Spector is a rather competent, not to mention rich man. Sure he’s got his secrets but if his Mum vouches for him, he can’t be all bad, can he? Maybe now Steven can finally live the life he deserves. Especially since Jake Lockley has so conveniently taken care of the Harrow problem Khonshu keeps complaining about.

"Didn't scratch that homicidal itch, Horde scum?" She quipped, leaning against her staff. Catra scoffed. "Don't you trust your own guards to protect you, Princess?" She bit back. Glimmer shrugged. "I was bored. Why are you here?" She narrowed her eyes as Catra shuddered softly. "None of your business," She snapped, beginning to scale the wall. Glimmer watched with raised eyebrows, realising where the cat was headed.
