Kei glances at him and tries not to notice anything but he notices everything. Because it’s Kuroo Tetsurou and Kuroo Tetsurou is a loud dancer who has a loud presence, even when he’s just sitting on a bench on Nekoma’s campus. It’s his black hair that’s everywhere all at once, it’s his all-black outfit, his black painted nails and the small black gauges in his ears, all of which that make Kei think of a certain AC/DC song. It’s the piercing on his brow, the way he’s sitting with his long legs stretched out in front of him and the bright smile that crashes with his intimidating look. Everything about Kuroo Tetsurou screams.

Summary
Kei Tsukishima joins Akiteru's band Corvus Nocte after his brother's death two years ago. He also dated Aki's best friend and co-frontman Iwaizumi since then.
Not too long away from his twentieth birthday, the band starts to take off. This weekend, they are to play their first big festival, on the same stage as one of the headliners, Idol rock/metal band Necomata Necromica and its stars, the Kuroo siblings.
Tsukki finds himself in a horrible situation. He wants to honour his brother by supporting his band. He also wants out of a toxic relationship that has turned more and more violent lately.
Things get worse and better and worse again after he encounters Tetsurou Kuroo, the younger Kuroo sibling, who seems to be fascinated by the pretty bassist at first sight.
After Corvus Nocte's first gig things escalate between him and his boyfriend but he finds unexpected support from the Necomata performers and crew, and comfort not only in a pair of intense eyes.
The next day, he knows what he wants and what he doesn't want. But safely escaping an abusive relationship when you share a van, stage, and backstage area for a weekend is easier said than done.

Summary
After a near-fatal accident with his motorbike, Kuroo returns from years of treatment to restart his education in Tokyo with the moral support of Akaashi and Bokuto.
Adjusting to a normal routine is tough enough but it gets complicated when Kuroo runs into his high school crush, Kei Tsukishima, on his first day at university. Things escalate from awkward to worst when his old hangups about him being too old for Tsukki make Kuroo act like an idiot. Thank god, Kuroo still has a bike to ride at night to relax but even that's easier said than done when a mysterious biker appears out of nowhere and sabotages Kuroo whenever things start to get fun.
The following weeks are stuffed with studying, hanging out with his new gang, and trying to get back into Tsukki's good books.
Throw in a couple of bullies, unexpected steamy situations, and a race, and Kuroo's in for a turbulent start to his second chance at life.
