“So what’re you doing here, Conner?”
Kon frowned. “What do you mean?”
Tim gave another shrug. “I mean, I’m only here ‘cause my dad can’t make it and he asked me to make an appearance for him.” He leaned across the table toward Kon, curious. “So what about you? I know most of the reporters that like to frequent these events, and I’ve never seen you around here before.”
“Aw, well,” Kon reached up to scratch at his cheek, trying to figure out the best way to word Superman is away on a space mission and is worried about his wife's tendency to get into astonishing amounts of trouble when left to her own devices, especially in Gotham, and also is probably, like, trying to do some kinda bonding thing? So he let me borrow his “disguise”, his literal name, and his job so I could tag along with her. “I’m filling in for my older brother?”

When yet another Gotham gala goes horribly wrong, it's left up to Kon and his new civilian friend Tim Drake to solve a murder, clear a name, and catch a culprit before it's too late.
(All without giving away their secret identities, of course.)
It's a good thing the infamous Detective Tim Drake and his faithful partner, Kon Watson, are on the case.

“Fuck off.”
“Nope,” Ranboo chirped, his shy demeanor melting away, replaced by a front of sheer charisma. It was baffling how quickly he’d switched. Tommy didn’t trust it one bit. “Can’t. I’m here to request your assistance.”
Oh, the nerve of this guy. First the threats, now he asks for help? Ranboo couldn’t even get his name right, the dick. Tommy’s hands twitched at his sides. No strangling allowed in Jack’s pub, he reminded himself. Remember, Tommy. No strangling.
“You come in here,” Tommy deadpanned, “steal my fruit, and then claim you want me to work a job for you?” Tommy scoffed. “Yeah, right. That makes total sense.”
Ranboo shrugged, grinning at him. “It’s one way to introduce myself, sure. Gotta make a good first impression.”
“Good is still up for debate,” Tommy muttered.

Tommy is a no-good thief with a smart tongue, sticky fingers, and plenty of bottled trauma. Ranboo, a member of the most notorious criminal organization in the galaxy, is in search of someone to assist him on a stubborn quest to help a friend.
He gets Tommy instead.

Summary

Lillium wants to do something for Iris, who has been working hard under Dan's tutelage. He may or may not be motivated by guilt, or affection, or... Either way, the kid deserves a break and hasn't seen anything in this world.
In other words, Lillium plans a vacation to the Redwood Forests for the two of them, and it doesn't go exactly as planned.

She looked over the ragtag group of injured, bloody, shell-shocked crawlers, really taking the scene in. All of them were still so, so young. Their hardened shells cracked down to their cores.
One of them was staring at her, she noticed. The rest were busy recovering, talking loudly amongst themselves, but that one crawler was standing shock still, his hand against the wall, stiff legs unsteady under him.
He looked human, Milk noted. But his race was primal. Carl was his name. Warlord Carl.
“Milk?” he whispered.
The first meeting, through Milk's eyes.
