Summary
Buggy was used to falling upwards. As a matter of fact, he was likely the best faller-upper in the entirety of the Grand Line if not the entire world! Unfortunately, the trade-off for his particular skill set tended to range from mildly inconvenient bullshit to a large and extremely unwanted threat to his person.
The first end of that spectrum could be navigated, and the second… well, sadly enough, this entire Cross-Guild shit seemed intent on forcing him to face threats to his person head-on.
This recent one was especially getting on his nerves. Mail was consistently rigged to explode upon opening, poison visibly radiated from every plate of food he received, and he couldn’t sleep without an attempted assassination!
Really, how was he supposed to know Crocodile’s masculinity was so fragile!? You make one joke about a guy showing ‘motherly behavior’...Conversely;
From the moment he lent Buggy the clown money all those years ago he had him pegged as a cowardly weakling who would never be of any threat to Crocodile or his station. How wrong he had been.
Buggy knew his biggest secret and Crocodile would stop at nothing to get rid of him.

Summary
So, it didn’t start out like this.
Alfred would scoff at the statement, about how Bruce was trying to justify the whole situation to himself. It had started out as a simple design, black everything with black outlines and black hood. It got a little more intense as the world went on, got wind of his ghost on the streets, and became scared of The Bat . So Bruce got a little more creative with it, Alfred and him had a good laugh over the name, the scare, and Alfred had a vicious streak of humor that he had passed onto his ward-
So now the suit had a visible bat-theme, an insignia to drape in the shadows and to paint across the streets of Gotham.
It only took a year into the whole charade of heroism for Bruce to overhear a conversation between some goons- some low level thug hired by the Riddler this week- about nothing at all pertaining to what the hell the Riddler was doing in the sewers but instead:
“ The Batman can fly, you know, I’ve seen his wings.”

A world where nobody has wings, but people think they do, and that changes everything.

Summary
Jason Todd has been dead for almost three years now. Everybody knows this. Tim definitely knows this.
And yet here he is now, looking very much alive, three years older and approximately 200 pounds heavier, in the middle of lecturing a bunch of sophomores about poetry and having just introduced himself as their new English teacher.
Bullshit, Tim thinks.

Summary
Tim is prepared to take the steps necessary to ensure that Bruce will not feel obligated to adopt Tim when a comatose Jack Drake inevitably dies. But what could be better than preventing Bruce from ending up with a son he doesn't want? Bringing back the one he does.
Jason agrees to the Replacement's stupid, stupid plan to invite some strange adult man he's never met to come live with him, if only to keep the idiot alive long enough for him to serve his purpose in the Great Red Hood Revenge Scheme.
Might this new roommate situation have an impact on either of their worldviews? Surely not...

Summary
"We at the Theraprism are happy to tell you that your spouse is safe and healthy.”
“I don’t have a spouse.” Said Ford.
“Yes, you do.” The entity pulled out a holographic binder. “Here, I have the paperwork."
Ford, suddenly assaulted by ghosts of lost, alcohol-soaked, hazy, whisp-like memories circling in the periphery of his mind, went deathly pale and had to take a step back to lean his weight against the cash-counter.
“I- That- That cannot have been legally binding!"
Or: Stanley Pines isn't the only one in the Pines family to get blackout drunk and married on a whim.

Summary
The interviewer grins. “Oh? Do you think you could fall for anyone who catches the Phantom Thieves?”
“It would require a certain level of intellect to find such vigilantes,” Goro Akechi says, eyes shining. “I would be quite interested in getting to know a person who is capable of such a feat.”
“You heard it here first – whoever unmasks the Phantom Thieves will win Detective Prince Akechi’s heart!”
With a prize like Goro Akechi’s affections on the line, Ren Amamiya has to win, no matter the cost.
Even if his team doesn’t really agree with his goals.
