Als es irgendwann klingelt, weiß Adam schon, dass es seine Mutter ist, ohne zu fragen. Er weiß, dass es 21:55 ist, ohne auf seine Armbanduhr zu schauen. Und er weiß, dass Leo genauso wenig will, dass er geht, ohne ein Wort zu sagen.

„Ciao“, sagt Adam, und hat es plötzlich doch ein bisschen eilig, seiner Mutter zu folgen.Die Schürks machen Urlaub. Die Hölzers betreiben einen Ferienhof, der nach den Sonnenblumenfeldern benannt ist, die ihn umgeben. Zwei Wochen Sonne, Limonade und Radfahren. Und zwei Jungs, die sich finden, ohne überhaupt gesucht zu haben.
