** ON HIATUS **
Everyone says Gotham is a rough place. They say the Bowery is one of the roughest parts. I don't know if that's true. The Hope House and Clinic is my labor of love, offering care and community to the neighborhood I call home, defending the people here, helping them to carve out a reasonable life however I can. But, fighting the tide of an uncaring city can attract all kinds of attention. It's almost never the good kind. Vigilantes, mobsters, real estate developers, or any of the other powers that be in a place like this.
Needless to say, my life running a non-profit is never boring. But when an injured man collapses practically on my doorstep, and wakes up not remembering who he is, my personal life might just get even more complicated.

Clint didn’t mean to kiss the Winter Soldier only days after being rescued from the Raft. He didn’t mean to trip his way into a time machine in the lab in Wakanda. He definitely, 100%, didn’t mean to spawn three alternate realities for his dumbass self to fumble through saving.
Now if only he can stop telling everyone he meets he’s from the future, rescue his loved ones from their tragic backstories, and get all three versions of James to like him as much as he likes them, he might have a chance to make this whole thing work out.

Summary
There can be no real affection for the Damned, and the ravening Moon Beasts are doomed to tear the world apart around them...this is especially true for such forbidden things as romance between vampire and werewolf - both of them, predators after the same prey...but what happens when they look past their mutual prejudice? When wariness turns to crimson desire? Can there truly be love, or can monsters only descend into perversion and eventual bloodshed?
So I decided to rewrite Thirst. I thought that Monroe Carter was such an interesting character with such an interesting backstory and potential plot that she deserves a better presentation; the first one got bogged down in smut and Mizrah's POV. Seeing as there is already a Mizrah-centered story, I'm going to turn most of the attention toward Monroe, the politics of her revolutionary goals, and her interactions with other Vampires. There will still be smut, but far more story too.
In the heat of the night, they are drawn inevitably toward one another...
