Rice Village said the sign, in faded, peeling letters. Behind the group of villagers was a fence of bamboo and further on, scattered minka—old, rural-style houses with thatched, gabled roofs. Front and centre was Naruto, wearing his trademark orange and a huge grin. Still boyish and round, he couldn't have been more than eighteen.
A rice farmer. Naruto was a rice farmer.
(Or, the AU where Sasuke returns after eight years away to discover that Konoha has changed, Naruto is a surprisingly adept rice farmer, and he have missed him a lot more than he thought.)

Summary
Megumi licks his lips and tries to rationalise the fact that he’s staring, openly, at Yuuji. “Itadori,” he says, softer than he means to, “I think we should sleep together tonight.”
After a tiring mission, Megumi and Yuuji are faced with the aftermath of a blizzard that leaves them trapped in a remote, snowed-in cabin. With little space, not much to do, and a temporary living situation that proves to be more comfortable than they thought, they're forced to confront each other and their exposed emotions with nothing left between them.

Summary
Yuuji can practically feel the snowflakes that are falling on the man’s face, can hear the zooming of the cars… but for the life of him, he cannot see the memory in his head, can’t put a face to the man in the photo, or a sound to his voice. Yuuji frowns, pinches the bridge of his nose, anxiety rising in his chest—it’s uncomfortable, not knowing. Not being able to fill the gaps.
“Do you recognize this photo?”
Yuuji’s body wants to say yes, more than anything. I know that place, that snowfall, that night. I know him. I knew him. I don’t know him. I don’t know who he is. Did I ever? Were we happy?
“No. No I don’t.”
Or, Yuuji undergoes a medical procedure to erase Megumi from his memories after a breakup. The memories are deleted gradually, trickling away till Megumi is scrubbed clean from Yuuji’s mind like he was never there to begin with.
