Summary
Kris was done. They weren't going to tolerate the interdimensional invader in their ribcage any longer. And if they had to open a fountain to get rid of it, they were going to.
Or at least, they were. Until that invader offered something new: the chance to remember between resets. To make their own decisions with nothing more than some minor advice and a helping hand if requested. Naturally, Kris was interested. And that's why they woke up on Thursday morning, remembering two days that technically hadn't happened yet.
Messing with the code can be delicate work. Do the wrong thing at the wrong time, and the bridge might just break. Or change fundamentally.
It's a good thing nothing like that could happen, right?

Summary
Angela Ziegler is at all manner of crossroads in her life. Between the professional turmoil of moving across the pond to start her doctoral research and the personal upheaval she thought she could leave behind, her stress is at an all-time high. She just needs one night to unwind, and she picks a random spot to throw herself into the orbit of an apparently random redhead. It quickly becomes apparent that nothing is truly random, and that one night can kick off a series of events that cohere and complicate in the messiest ways.

It boasts an incredibly fast TTK, a cheap cost, and the history of being a living solution to one of the biggest military sticklers to make a name for itself. The average observer may take this as evidence that IPS-N's noted reputation for pragmatism and efficiency has once again reared its surprisingly well-proportioned head.
The Development Direction team, unfortunately, knows better.
