“Do you want me to drink bleach, Dave? Is that what you’re trying to sentence me to?” Jack helpfully omitted the fact he’d already done that once or twice, along with the fact he’d absolutely do that if Dave wanted. Jack would come back. He always came back.
There was a pause. Then, quietly, Davetrap mumbled, “Shit. I don’t want ya ta drink bleach.”
(Surprising.)
“See? So you need to take a bath. That way, I can scrub out all the mold, and neither of us have to drink bleach. Alright?”
