Curfew.
Every kid in Derry should’ve been eating dinner at home. Perhaps at a friend’s house, planning on staying the night. Maybe even some dashing into their front doors and hoping they didn’t get in trouble for being on the cusp of tardiness.
Seven children missing past curfew on the same evening wasn’t ideal. All their parents hysterical in the same police station waiting room also wasn’t ideal.
