Visually, Castiel's love is a circle. Aurally, it's an echo. Kinesthetically, it's breathing. Overall, it is not fate, and it is not chance; it is choice. He would not choose differently if he could go back and do it again, and that's why he didn't choose differently from the start.

It's the modern day and Todd Anderson, the youngest of the two Andersons brothers, anxiety filled, family disappointment extraordinaire, and ghost seer (though that last one wasn’t as obvious), is shipped off to Welton Academy. There, he plans to be compared to Jeffery, freak out about presentations in the bathroom stalls, nap at every moment possible, and ignore the ghosts inevitably haunting those hallowed boarding school halls.
What he didn’t plan was for the cute dead boy in his dorm room from the 1950’s to be so charming, or so goddamn persistent.

Despite having equal status on paper, Owen's still older, and with age comes experience. Owen has plenty of talent and expertise in a plethora of areas Curt does not, and whenever Curt gets just a little too cocky, Owen can smoothly slip in an anecdote about being sent on a mission only 2% of agents get clearance for, and Curt gets knocked down a peg.
However, aside from his impulsivity, recklessness, and inability to read a debriefing file before a job, there's one thing Curt excels in that Owen does not.

Or, Owen fights jealousy and Curt fights RSD.

At the stand, Fey’s eyes are red. He doesn’t know if they’re bloodshot from lack of sleep or time spent fighting off tears, but experience tells him it's likely both. Miles shivers.
Maya Fey is only a child. She wouldn’t—couldn’t—have done this to anyone, much less her own sister.
