“Sparkles,” Catra slammed her books down on the table, sending a sort of shockwave through the quiet corner of the library Glimmer had chosen for them to study in, “please tell me you’re free tonight?”
Glimmer, who’d jumped a little, regained her composure. She brushed her mussed hair out of her eye and arched her brow. “Why?”
Catra sighed and pulled out the chair across from her friend. “If I tell you,” she sat and crossed her arms, “you have to swear not to laugh at me.”
Glimmer gave a quick nod. “I promise. No laughing.”
“I…” Catra groaned and pushed her hand through her bangs. “I need someone to go see Barbie with me.”
OR Catra needs a date, Adora needs help with her homework, and they both deserve to feel wanted.

Summary
"What will you be focusing on now that you have this win on your resume?"
Adora clears her throat. "I'm actually going to be taking a step back from tennis at the moment."
A hush falls over the crowd and the reporter’s eyes bug out. "What do you mean?"
"I'm pregnant. The doctor cleared me to play in this tournament, but I won't be able to play for the rest of this season." The crowd gets louder with raucous applause for Adora and she waves at her fans. "That's about all I have to say about that. I've always kept my personal life personal, and I intend to continue to do that. I hope to be allowed that by you all."
The reporter nods quickly. "Well, congratulations on your win and on your baby. I know I can speak for all tennis fans when we say we will miss you on the court."
Adora’s smile turns sad. "I'll miss being on the court more than you all can possibly imagine but—" She slides her hands down gently touching the protruding bump "—some things are worth taking a break for, I think."

Summary
The fire climbs to an even greater height, crackling and whipping in the light desert breeze. Catra watches it with rapt attention, fearful to let her gaze linger on Adora for too long.
“But we don’t have to fight, you know,” Adora says. “I mean...what’s the point of it now? There’s no rebellion here. And no Horde. There’s just you and me, and a lot of things that wouldn’t hesitate to kill either of us.”
“So, what?” demands Catra. “We pretend to be a team again? After everything?”
“If it keeps us alive,” says Adora. “I’m willing to put all that aside if you are.”
Catra and Adora end up exiled to the Crimson Waste together. If they're going to conquer gangs, quicksand, serpents, and other desert threats, they'll need to learn to trust one another again.

Summary
It's been five years since the end of the war and Adora's never been happier. She's married to the love of her life, she's surrounded by friends, and she and Catra are about to become parents. Nothing could go wrong, but after much deliberation, and many years of planning, it's decided that the time has come to try and rescue Angella from the world in between realities. But, nothing ever goes according to plan, and rather than rescuing Angella they manage to lose Adora to an alternate universe. When Adora wakes up alone and in her old bed, she knows something is wrong. When she can't find her wife she knows it's incredibly wrong. Where is Catra? Why does no one know where Catra is?
It's been about six and a half years since the end of the war - since Catra let Adora go in the Crimson Waste and the Horde fell apart in her absence. It's been about six and a half years since Adora's seen Catra at all. But a day hasn't gone by that Adora hasn't thought about Catra. Not a day has gone by that she hasn't wished she could see her again. Then, one day, she wakes up on the floor of Entrapta's lab, and Catra's just there, and she's pregnant, and she's holding her. What is going on?

Summary
Catra Diaz is the best helicopter pilot in her unit, but after a horrific accident, she abandons the military and takes a job as a life-flight pilot in Alaska. Five years later, her life has finally evened out - not quite happy, but content that at least she's not reliving the worst moment of her life every time she closes her eyes anymore. All it takes to shatter her fragile equilibrium is one voice - a voice she'd worked hard to forget, a voice she'd thought she was safe from.
It turns out that sometimes you can't outrun your guilt - but maybe you never needed to in the first place.
