Summary

And maybe it's a bit crazy to be developing a tiny crush on the guy he just met not even twenty-four hours ago, but sue him, Seonghwa is beautiful and his kid is adorable and Hongjoong has been alone for so long.
“What are you thinking about?” Seonghwa asks after a while of comfortable silence, curiosity written over his features.
Hongjoong stares out at the water, at the way the stars touch the sea. “I don't really know,” Hongjoong says, and it's not quite a lie. He really doesn't know how to explain what's going on in his mind, and his thought processes freeze when he looks at Seonghwa anyway. “Do you think we should head back?”
Seonghwa chews his lower lip for a moment before shaking his head. “Let's stay here a little longer.”
Hongjoong doesn't question it or protest. When Seonghwa’s hand finds his under the water, he sends a thank you to the constellations above him.

He may have even been adventurous enough to travel to the region that is practically named after the sea creatures. But, as per usual, humankind’s history of entitlement and gorging on something that they have no right to gorge on, the relationship between the two species has tilted, to say the least.
You’d really think that after caging orcas for commercial and performance value for centuries that humans would have learnt a few necessary things, such as – do not take life from the ocean and do not expect it to be fucking happy about it.
