Set post Ceremonial Duel.
After finally being set free from the Millennium Puzzle, Pharaoh Atemu rules over the souls of his people in the peaceful afterlife. That peace doesn’t last long however as soon, the souls of the dead are under threat.
At the same time, Yugi and his friends suddenly appear in the land of the ancient Egyptian dead via a nest of slithering serpents lead by the scheming serpent god of Chaos from Egyptian mythology, Apep. Together with his mysterious ally, they become increasingly bold in their plans. But things are not quite what they seem.
Atemu will need all the help he can get in his next battle to save the afterlife.

He was dying. He could feel it.
Danny lay on a detached rock in the Ghost Zone, struggling to take each oncoming breath. Danny grimly wondered, for a moment, what would happen if he simply stopped putting the effort in to breathe. Would his human side continue to fight the losing battle to live, or would his ghost half simply welcome it?
Maybe that was a question he should have asked the scientists he’d barely managed to fly away from.

After Danny's parents take away more than what the half-ghosts could have ever imagined, Vlad doubles down on his desire to mold Danny into the son he's always dreamed of. However, it's going to take much more work than before.

This is the story of how a beloved yet young Pharaoh, who was considered a mortal god, was erased from history and is only known in modern times as the Nameless Pharaoh. This story does not begin with him, but rather with how it ultimately ended in tragedy and death. This is the story of a father who lost everything and a brother who paid his way into a dark God's arms with what he thought were good intentions. This is the story of a Mage who sacrificed everything to stay with his king and a Priest whose cold heart burned for a blue-eyed girl.
The stone tablet with the Nameless Pharaoh's memories did not tell the entire story because of the meddling of a Thief and a defeated dark god. The tablet's magic had been rushed, and pieces were missing. Days used to be three years of rule for this Pharaoh, and the people of his time were removed to hasten the end.
So this is their story. This is how Atem lived... and died.
