Summary
Even with half of his face obscured by the pillow he is hugging, Rick looks peaceful and much more content than he remembers being in years. The way he clutches the material looks so very normal - regular, unscripted - while the contrast between his skin and the dark blue sheets is startling. It's a compelling image for sure, and the media are all over it. As is Rick's lawyer, because the picture was taken while he was sleeping, and thus created and much less published, without his consent.

Summary
Elurmeril has been running his smithy in Sharper's Alley for years. Newcomers to Abah's Landing are a dime a dozen, and most of them come to the city to get rich quick doing jobs for the Thieves Guild.
Aside from a sharp tongue, Elurmeril also has sharp eyes though, and he may have spotted one of the few exceptions to that rule.

Summary
Soap is a PhD student, doing his research in Antarctica on the behaviors and hunting habits of leopard seals. During his expedition, he becomes obsessed with a leucistic seal, who he's taken to calling Ghost.
His attempts at tagging Ghost for tracking purposes have all failed, leaving Soap frustrated, but determined to try again. He won't stop until he gets the data he needs for his dissertation.
At the same time, Soap is stuck in an escalating, heated flirting match with a hydroponics employee at another base. It's foolish to form romantic relationships with someone he knows will vanish from his life once their expeditions are over, but there's something fascinating about this man that he can't ignore.
