Summary
After accidentally killing Mandy’s abusive boyfriend six years prior, Mickey was sentenced to prison. After he gets out on parole, he goes through the training to be a Peer Support Specialist and lands a job at the same agency where Ian also works as a Peer Support Specialist. Ian’s dating some rich guy, but Mickey thinks he could do so much better, especially when he sees the bruises on his wrists and face and hears how his boyfriend talks to him when the guy comes to pick him up at the end of his shifts. How can Mickey convince Ian that he deserves better, and that better might just look like a 28-year-old ex-thug turned support counselor?

Summary
Klaus Hargreeves has always lived on the edge of addiction, of life, of his own unravelling. But when he's brutally assaulted by someone he trusted, the thin line he walks finally crumbles beneath him. With no waypoint but a handful of pills and a syringe, he spirals into a silence that ends up too heavy to carry by himself.
His brother Diego finds him half-dead and haunted. He brings him home in a last-ditch effort to save what’s left of The Seance. But Diego’s not whole either. Still wrestling with his own trauma and desperate to be better, he’s barely holding together the new life he’s trying to build.
Shotgun Opera is a story about what comes after the worst night of your life. About bruised bodies, broken minds, and the kind of survival that doesn’t come clean. Gritty, visceral, and unapologetically raw, this is not a story of redemption, but it just might be the beginning.

Summary
When Dave gets sent to A Shau Valley in Vietnam, he is reminded of the 'prophet' who tried to stop him enlisting by telling him he would die there. He tries to ignore the memories at first, but it becomes difficult after the man himself appears in front of him one night, seemingly with no idea that they had ever met before.
Or, their Vietnam (love) story, but in the alternate timeline where Dave has already met Klaus in Texas, and realises that maybe what the 'prophet' said was real.

Summary
“What the hell do you think you’re doing here?”
The voice makes him freeze; he knew that voice, he knew it like the ocean knew sand. He never thought of this possibility, it was very stupid of him for not.
“I could ask you the same thing,” he mumbles, refusing to face the man behind him.
A bitter, humorless snort is heard and Klaus flinches subtly. “That’s rich,” Ben says, “coming from the person who stopped me from being here seventeen years ago.”
The medium slumps in on himself a little; he was still mad, Ben was still mad… Why are they always fighting? Where did they go wrong?
“You could have gone back anytime; it’s not my fault you were scared,” he mutters bleakly.
“Yeah, right, because you didn’t need me? It’s apparent you couldn’t even make it a full day without me.”
(Or the one where Ben and Klaus reunite in an unexpected way and talk about their differences. An apology was long overdue and third chance's the charm, he supposes.)
