Summary
The world we all know and understand is nothing but a baldfaced lie. Beneath the safe and mundane streets their thrives a world of Magic and Myth, Monsters and Saints.
Indianapolis was long thought to be a defunct dud in the magical world, although it was named the circle city, a connotation with much power. Passed over for the more populated city of Chicago in the many supernatural power struggles Indianapolis operated as a place of safety and secrecy for the more downtrodden members of the supernal worlds.
Adelaide Coventry is one of Indianapolis's most sought after magical consultants, a Wizard of the White Council and the older sister to a Half-Fae, she finds her abilities more than capable of handling any of the cities problems before anyone too important catches wind of them.
That is until an ancient Egyptian coffin placed on display at the local Museum has its mummy go missing, and leaves behind two corpses and a whole lot of questions unanswered. Hired by a centuries old Ifrit to hunt down the wayward mummy and his ilk Adelaide is forced to face questions of her past she never wanted answered, and come to terms with the fact that she might be in over her head for the first time in her life.
