    Malleus Draconia had always been an unusual person. Showing up to things on time when most Fae didn’t, sometimes getting a glazed look in his eye, and sometimes sounding older than he actually was. But most people dismissed it, not knowing those were only the tip of the iceberg.
    Malleus never meant to outlive everyone he loved but it happened. Then he found a way to make everything right, a second chance. So he took it.
    He doesn’t talk about it because how do you explain a war no one else survived, how can you explain memories no one else remembers. How can you explain nightmares about a future(past?) that’s never happened.
    He’s fine, really.
