Summary
2873 TA (Third Age of Arda). Darkness haunts the lands of Greenwood the Great, gradually turning it into Mirkwood. King Thranduil must fight the sinister forces threatening his realm and invading his mind. At the same time Lord Elrond braces himself for battle against an ancient evil as well as for emotional turmoil, when an unexpected message arrives. To save their kin from a horrible fate Elrond and Thranduil will have to cooperate, but will they be able to resolve centuries of emotional hurt and conflict? Will Thranduil win his inner battle or will he succumb to the darkness? And will Elrond be able to save him?
