Summary
In the dead of night, Stede Bonnet is woken up by a banging on his cottage door. It's Ed Teach and his annoying friend Iggy, who is so direly wounded he might not recover. In a last ditch attempt to save him, Ed and Stede turn to the warlock known as Frenchie, whose music can heal blights and move mountains.
Together they embark on a journey to save Izzy's life. The journey will introduce them to innkeepers and bandits, bounty hunters and royals, Fae beings of the other-world and the ghosts of each other's pasts. It will take them through forests and cities, mountains and crossroads, to the ancient haunts of the Mage King himself.
And if they find their way home again, nothing will ever be the same.

Izzy's not interested in looking away from the hypnotic stroke of Frenchie's fingers up and down his strings, so for now Lucius will stay out of view. The boy sounds scandalized but happy about it when he demands, "Was that Izzy?"
"Sure was," Frenchie confirms, not looking away from Izzy either. Izzy licks his lips. Frenchie sets aside his lute. "Feeling good, Boss?"
"Could feel better," Izzy rasps, spreading his legs.

Summary
Just a little sequel to the Ouizzy fic I wrote to comfort myself after the end of Season 2. But you don't need to have read 'Folie à deux' to understand this one. It may or may not be a bridge to another longer fic.
The captains and crew of the Revenge are going their separate ways, but first Izzy needs to make sure Bonnet is sufficiently versed in the care and feeding of Ed. Not easy, when Bonnet is reluctant to believe Izzy has anything to Teach him about such matters. Meanwhile, Frenchie is figuring out some things about the care and feeding of Izzy, who is working hard to process some big feelings about the end of the Blackbeard era.
The vibe is mostly fluffy; the kink is off-stage, mild and consensual.

Season 2 from Izzy’s point of view, with alternative, happier ending.
Because yeah, the Blackbeard folie à deux was fucked up, but there’s no reason why they can’t both move on from it: no-one needs to die, completing a character arc doesn’t mean killing someone as soon as they find respite and joy, and Izzy is, after all, an indestructible little fucker (as well as a sentimental bastard and most of the other things he’s been called.)
Shipping Izzy and Frenchie came as a surprise to me, but it's where the story went and it seems to work.

Israel Hands has given every bit of himself – his life, his love, his magic – to the vampire Edward Teach, but it didn't stop Edward from leaving him for a fucking werewolf named Stede Bonnet thirteen years ago. Now Edward is back, begging Izzy to ignore the laws of magic and destroy himself in the process. Izzy knows he should say no, but he's never been very good at that when it comes to Edward, and besides, it's not like he has much to live for now anyway.
Roach is suspicious – he's suspicious of everything since the fateful night his entire life was turned upside down – but not of Izzy. No, Izzy is prickly and rude, but he's not a threat. Something about this entire situation, however, has his lips pulling back over his teeth and a growl rumbling in his chest.
And Frenchie? Frenchie is just happy that he's finally done waiting.

Summary
By the time he gets home, much later than he had expected after starting out that lunchtime, Frenchie is in a mild panic. He hasn’t been out on a date in over a year so to say that he feels out of practice, if he was ever actually in practice, is an understatement. But not only is he going on a date, said date is with Izzy Hands, the man he's been in love with for the best part of a year and who he spent the afternoon kissing like it was going out of fashion. Furthermore, Izzy isn’t taking him on a date, Frenchie is taking Izzy on a date, not the way things usually work for him.
He doesn’t even begin to know how to organise his thoughts after the afternoon’s events. One minute he’s walking into a supposedly empty house and thirty minutes later he’s straddling Izzy’s lap and he’s being kissed like he’s never been kissed before.
The boys go on their first date.
