Summary
This could all have been over ages ago if Ace had just told them, "Hey, my brother died seven years ago and it's almost the anniversary of his death and I still blame myself for it, so could you all just leave me alone for a few days to get over it, like I do every year?"
He doesn't tell them, because he doesn't want to tell them about Sabo. The Whitebeards are his family, and he thinks he might even love them, but--
Those memories of Sabo and Luffy are his. The Whitebeards weren't there; they can't understand it.

Summary
Things Sanji is completely fine and normal about and not at all traumatized by: men, the concept of manhood, fathers, and brothers.
Which means he is perfectly fine when Luffy's other older brother comes to visit. He's not scared, because that would be stupid. Why would he be afraid of a guy who could break his captain's heart with a few words, or crush his bone to powder when they were play-fighting on deck?

Summary
Luffy alone is a scrappy, tougher than he has the right to be, wild card of a kid who will cause chaos in any fight he throws himself into.
Luffy with his crew is somewhere between a force of nature and an act of God - so determined it feels like fate itself has submitted to his whims. So it is a really good thing the Strawhat Pirates would never let their captain go to war by himself, isn’t it? They'll need to pull off a few miracles to get Ace out of Marineford alive, after all.
