Summary

Zelda looked at Link but his face would not provide an answer. She still hadn't learned. The Zonai judged them in silence, crowding around the podium, their Light constructs fractured by her form. The illusions split and broken, like glass numbers on a clock. Rauru ended his pace mere steps before her, imploring with slit eyes. His shoulders drooped. She knew that look. It was the same look she'd had for the last hundred and six years. He spoke again, and his voice was on its last legs.
"How many more times before this cycle is broken?"A (drastic) retelling of TotK, focusing on the relationship between Link and Zelda and elaborating on the history established in BOTW.

Kohga is extremely proud of the best idea he's ever had, of his quick thinking, of his fiendishness, of his magnanimous-ness. Magnaninosity? Whatever! You see, instead of killing the little girl (the way ~Sooga~ said they should), he decided to raise her as his very own. His Precious Baby Girl.
And look how well that turned out! She's activating the Divine Beasts that are programmed to be on their side. The Goddess power nonsense isn't an issue anymore. The Calamity is going to come and finally the Yiga will have their revenge and their freedom.

"It wanted to go outside," continued Cloud. "You came downstairs before it could."
"What was it after?" asked Cid, who was now properly paying attention.
Cloud shrugged. Then he took another breath.

"It said I was part of a project," he said dryly.
Cloud hallucinates. Voices sometimes, or music -- it's hard to tell. It's just another consequence of Jenova's encroaching presence in his DNA, and four years after Meteorfall everyone's more or less adapted to it and other oddities associated with being not quite human. Mostly.
What begins as a chance encounter with something that isn't Jenova soon leads to a fight for survival that can no longer be contained in the spaces between numbers, as Cloud tries to keep himself together and finally put his past behind him.

Summary
Sakura is abducted on a mission by a rogue nin. He reveals himself to be about the same age as she is, but is very cagey about most other details of his life. However they form a strong bond in their short time together, stronger in fact than any of the bonds with her assigned teammates from her village. She manages to escape, returns home and works over the next few years to be a stronger, more capable ninja. But she never forgets him.
A summer encounter with the rogue nin results in an even stronger friendship with him than before. But that bond is shaken to the core when a mission goes terribly wrong. Both betrayed, Sakura turns to her true teammates, strengthening her ties to her village. And the rogue sheds his former identity and turns fully into the life that had been prepared for him.
Years later, when a chance encounter turns into a nightmare battle, the Akatsuki's newest member, a young blonde mercenary, has to make a hard choice. Will he keep his identity hidden yet let the pink-haired girl die in his arms? Or will he do what he knows is necessary to save her: wrap her in his hard-earned Akatsuki cloak and head straight for the village that failed him as a child?
