“Kim.” Chay keeps repeating, and hearing his name from those lips still makes something flutter in his chest, even after all these months. “Are you saying we could have been getting a good night’s sleep for like a week now and you didn’t tell me?”
He shrugs again. Chay keeps emphasizing words accusatorily, like approaching him and saying, hey I think we’ve been cursed so that we can’t sleep unless we’re near each other please let me curl up next to you in bed, wouldn’t be batshit crazy.
Kim can't sleep. Chay can't sleep. Somehow this leads to Kim spending his nights in Chay's bed with the Great Wall of Pillows standing firmly between them.

Within seconds, Mine and the others disappeared into the chaos. Porchay stayed, his gaze unconsciously drawn toward the court to him.
Kimhan was up on someone’s shoulders, sweaty hair tied back, smile dazzling and easy. He looked like he belonged there, in the light, adored. Porchay’s chest tightened. He told himself he was just observing, everyone had a crush on Kimhan. It wasn’t special.
Except it was.
Because Porchay noticed things no one else did how Kimhan hummed off-key during math, the way he helped the younger students find classrooms, the way he’d quietly fix the nets before practice started. Those were the things that got him.
And that was why Porchay hated Kimhan. Because he made him soft. He made him hope.
