She had spent the last two years helping with the rebuilding effort, two years patrolling Greece with her new Amazon platoon, doing her best to eliminate the remaining threats that had raised in the Titans' wake. Two years doing what he would have done. Two years earning her place with him.
Her days were filled with the memory of him constantly following her, from his constellation that shone every night, to the pendant that hung heavy around her neck. Sometimes her nights would finally be peaceful and she would feel a strange warmth accompanied by a fleeting gentle dream, a warm rugged hand intertwined with hers, the soft coos of a child, soft warm lips kissing her forehead, her cheeks, her lips, and the same feeling of abundant love she had felt when he had crossed her soul. Every time she woke from those dreams, a single blue rose would be lying on the pillow next to her, and for some reason she knew it was him.
