“Is there something you’re hiding from me, Richie?”
“Don’t call me that,” Dick says nervously. “I’m- I’m not-”
“What should I call you, then?” Clark presses. “Richard? Songbird? Robin? Were you the first Robin?”
Dick chitters in response, tongue forming inhuman birdlike syllables, and then slaps a hand over his mouth, eyes wide and pupils shrunken. “N- No,” he says unevenly. “No. I’m- I’m Dick. I’m just normal, really-”
“You’re more than that,” Clark snaps. He’s so close, he can feel it. “Come on, Dick, you can trust me. You’re a vigilante, aren’t you? Tell me the truth.”
“Please,” Dick gasps, doubling over. “Please, please, I can’t- it hurts-”
Or, Clark comes to Gotham determined to disprove the rumors that say the Waynes are possessed by the eldritch, inhuman Bats. What happens is... not that.

Summary
It was a bad idea.
Tim knew it was a bad idea before he had even finished thinking about it, but he was running out of options. Robin was dead, and Batman was slowly destroying himself along with Gotham’s underground. It wasn’t justice. It wasn’t even vengeance. It was just plain old self-destruction.
And it was starting to draw attention of the non-human kind.
Who better to draw it away than Tim himself?

Summary
Tim is five years old when he drowns in his parents' pool. He dies quietly, waiting for parents who love him, but will never be there, to realise that something is wrong. They never show up, and he sinks into oblivion.
When he wakes up and claws his way out of the water, the sun has set, and the lights of his house are on. He is cold and wet and his lungs burn.
But most of all, Tim is alone.
