At the cusp of defeat, Shadow Milk gets transported to a backwards world: Dark Enchantress was sealed away before she could do any lasting damage, the Beasts never came to be, and the Ancients rule over an otherwise peaceful world.
Oh, and apparently his counterpart is dead and hailed as a hero. Because his life wasn’t already complicated enough.
OR
What happens when the guy who basically saved all of cookiekind comes back as an evil, corrupted version of himself?

The yaksha nodded thoughtfully. Finally, it delivered the verdict with aplomb: “You’re not broken.”
“No?!” Nezha shot up.
“You grew up too fast. Things are just a little wonky; you have to get used to dealing with your…” The yaksha made a vague gesture at all that. “… Biology. Listen, kid. I assure you it’s all quite standard.”
“How do I do that?” He would do almost anything to get back to normal. The yaksha was proving to be far more knowledgeable than he’d expected; hope filled Nezha in an almost painful squeeze.
The yaksha spread its thick, fleshy lips in a leer. “You have to mate with the little dragon beauty."
Nezha deals with his changing body. Things are... complicated.

MK, Wukong, and Macaque are summoned by the ten Kings of the underworld to answer for the crime of the destruction of the Pillar of Heaven. But that is not their only charge. The Six Eared Macaque has escaped punishment long enough.
Or: A subtle rewrite of season five’s beginning where things are taken seriously by the get-go and Macaque doesn’t get trapped in the pagoda.
This is a part of my (slight) AU series but is not directly preceded by “Looking for You” and reading it is not at all necessary to enjoy this.

This is power. And it is all his.

Especially when a heavenly god decides he will obliterate the monkey island and Macaque's powers seem to wane.

“Drake,” Damian says, clicking his tongue. “We are not prepared for unknown variables. Someone knowing would undoubtedly change how they act, which would have a snowball effect on the rest of the day. Therefore rendering our knowledge useless.”
“This doesn’t concern you, Grayson,” Damian dismisses. Tim stomps over, raises his hand, and Dick prepares to break up a fight between the two.
Instead, Tim simply grabs Damian by the shoulders, spinning him around and off the bed so his back is pressed against his front. His palm finds Damian’s mouth, and the younger begins squirming in the hold. “Dick, we’re caught in a time-loop,” Tim says, raising his voice over the muffled protests of the boy in his arms.
What? “What?” Dick asks, trying to comprehend the statement.
Dick doesn't know when his brothers got so close, considering how last week the two almost came to blows over a missing batarang, but it's seeming a little... obsessive.

Little Link, as he'd been (unfortunately) dubbed, didn't have any memories, but the man in his dreams claimed to be real. He didn't care either way, it was just nice to have someone to rely on for a change.
