Summary
As second year begins at Hogwarts, Drekana Sands is thrust unwillingly into the spotlight when Rita Skeeter publishes a sensational article exposing her past abuse and accusing the school of a coverup. The sudden attention leaves Drekana vulnerable, no longer able to disappear into the background as whispers follow her through the halls. Professor Snape, now the subject of scrutiny himself, must protect his ward while carefully maintaining his cold, distant role as a double agent.
Draco Malfoy finds himself questioning his place in the school—and within his own bloodline—as old family values clash with new loyalties. But when students begin turning to stone and rumors of the Heir of Slytherin sweep through the castle, the mystery unfolds in unexpected ways.

Summary
Drekana Sands never imagined herself part of the magical world, let alone at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Scarred by a past she cannot speak of—literally—Drekana must navigate a castle full of whispers, rivalries, and secrets while trying to find her place in a world that feels both wondrous and overwhelming.
But her arrival at Hogwarts ripples through the lives of those around her, quietly altering the course of events that seemed destined to unfold. With unexpected allies like Hermione Granger, Draco Malfoy and the stern yet oddly protective Severus Snape, Drekana embarks on a journey that intertwines with Harry Potter’s own, shifting the balance of friendships, alliances, and choices in ways no one could predict.
As darkness stirs in the shadow of Voldemort’s return, Drekana learns that courage isn’t always loud, silence can hold a power of its own, and even the smallest changes can rewrite a story.

Summary
“Is that a kid?” Husk asked dumbly. This was the first child he’d seen in—years, easily. Probably at least a decade or more. And, in Alastor’s living room of all places? Listening to his damn nightmare broadcast?
All he could manage to utter was one question: “Why?”
“That is a good question, my dear Husker!”
“...You have no idea, do you?”
The widening of Alastor’s grin was answer enough.
---
Children are a rare in the Pride Ring, especially as sinners. What sorts of deeds in their short lives would lead a child to be cast into Hell? While Alastor never particularly cared for children, he's always been a bit curious about that, and about how growing up in Hell would impact their mental development. So when he stumbles upon one who doesn't seem too annoying, he decides observing her might make for some good entertainment.
After all, how many children can tell you about intestines but have no clue what an angel is?
AKA: Alastor finds a child and proceeds to revel in the chaos that comes with it.
