To be honest, Bachira forgets why he called. He thinks back and then it suddenly hits him.
“Oh! Yes! I called you because I think we should go on a road trip! We could, I dunno, go to Tokyo tomorrow, stay there overnight, go to Kyoto, Mount Fuji maybe, and then come back to our hometowns! It’d only be like five days!”
Isagi is silent. Bachira’s heart races and he holds his breath while waiting for the answer. This was really short notice! Why would Bachira tell him they should meet tomorrow?!
