Summary
Peppino, after years of mostly working alone, ended up employing a weird bunch of characters as his new staff after the tower fell: an adventurer gnome, that gnome's giant rat that he got from said tower, and out of fear of his safety, a disturbing doppelgänger of himself.
Months later, Peppino's doing pretty well off for himself. He's not exactly out of debt, but with the increase of customers actually dining in his restaurant instead of just ordering delivery, it seems like he could mostly forget about all that and focus on his work.
But one autumn day, he ends up waking with a strange feeling in his gut that will change him and how he sees his staff.

Peppino finds this out the day they arrive, and he's completely lost.
