Summary
“I have one more chore for you. I want you to get me some flowers,” Arthur said while he reached for the soap next to the tub, looking away from Merlin as he searched the floor. Merlin blinked, hoping that Arthur wasn’t enchanted. Again.
“May I ask for what purpose, sire?” Merlin asked.
“Don’t worry about it. Just pick out some flowers you like and bring them back to me. You can do that much, can’t you?”
Arthur wants Merlin to deliver some flowers to a secret crush of his. However, Arthur neglected to tell Merlin who the flowers were for, which leads to Merlin having to figure out who it is on his own. Couldn’t Arthur just tell him who to give the flowers to without all this?

“… What was that?” Gem stared at him like she had seen a ghost. Her jaw might as well have been touching the cobblestone and her eyes looked about to bulge out of her skull. She had turned about 5 shades whiter.
“Oh, it's Scar’s newest bit,” Grian answered casually. It was definitely nothing that warranted that sort of reaction, didn't even make top 5 of craziest things Scar had done. Maybe not even top 10. He flattened the shopping district overnight just a few weeks ago.
“His newest bit…” Gem shook her head, recomposing herself. “Can you please explain what exactly is the bit?” Before Grian could reply, she added: “From the very beginning, with as many details as possible. What is wrong with you two?”(or: Scar rehearses to get the best love confession)

Summary
"Something sharp tickled his stomach and throat when he thought of Spore. They didn't kill him -Scar knew that, but the husk of a person, statue-like and empty-eyed, stuck in this room, made his stomach churn uncomfortably
-The only thing keeping it at bay was the fact that Spore clearly wasn't much of a human anymore anyway. He thinks now, if he could do it all again, he'd have actually made himself involved in the process.
He'd have told Doc to find another solution - one that wasn't so person-shaped.
But Scar hadn't wanted to be involved; he'd wanted solutions, not equations - so he hadn't asked, hadn't checked on the operation, hadn't done his job, and this is the direct result of that."

Summary
Looking in at another universe obsessively like this, it’s a bad habit — a peek of something he can’t have, another painful tug on his heart, another pointless reminder that he’s ruined everything. Irreparably. Forever. Five times over. But he keeps looking.
Grian’s been torturing himself with this every night, anyway, what’s one more snoop?
OR
On Hermitcraft, there's a different version of Grian, perfectly happy with his Scar. Somehow, in the middle of Secret Life, Grian manages to wake up in his body.

Summary
“How do I know?” The kid spits, knife raised again, trembling violently. His eyes are wet, angry and pleading and piercing right down into Grian’s soul.
“...If I can fly?” Grian asks, confused. His heart is beating fast.
The boy shakes his head violently, taking a lurching step forward, now only a few feet away. Something about his eyes almost seems familiar, but the thought is fleeting. The knife looks sharp. The child is crying, slow tears that barely have an effect on his voice.
“No,” the kid says forcefully. “How do I know you’re not a zombie?”
OR,
A young Scar fresh from a world overtaken by zombies stumbles through The Rift onto Hermitcraft, and is quickly adopted by the rest of the Hermits, who have no idea who he actually is.
An older Scar grapples with a past that he'd rather forget, all while trying to avoid the version of himself he left behind a long time ago.
