(EDITED 2023-03-31: Hey guys, this is the same story I have posted before, I just separated the story into two chapters instead of one, because it was pointed out to me awhile ago it would be easier to read seeing as its such a large word count, which I agree with, and I finally got around to doing it{Thank you @QuirkFicEnjoyer for that btw <3} The story itself hasn't changed its just been a bit edited so if you think you've read this before - you probably have! I just wasn't sure how else to do it besides reposting<3)

Katsuki isn't stupid, he knows his peers love Deku. It's impossible for Katsuki to go anywhere without hearing mention of the name.So one can guess Katsuki's fucking confusion when he asks where the nerd is, and gets a confused look in response.

“The bleeding’s not stopping,” Bakugou pressed his hand against the wound, ignoring the pained gasps that the other boy let escape at the action. “It’s not fucking stopping!”
Aizawa ripped another piece of fabric away and pressed it against the wound, watching as it too quickly grew wet with blood. It didn’t help and Todoroki was quickly bleeding out and now the puddle under him was spreading like a black hole, dark and consuming as if it would swallow him whole.
“Sensei, fucking do something,” Bakugou pleaded from his side, voice cracking and hands bathed in blood.
When his student’s life is on the line, Aizawa desperately does anything he can to get him out alive.

“Now that you’ve met everyone in my class, who’s your favorite?”
Eri stares at him. “You.”
Deku laughs a little, even though he looks happy to hear it. “That’s very sweet,” he says, “but I meant out of everyone else.”
Oh. Eri considers this, but after what happened today she doesn’t really have to think about it. “Kacchan,” she tells him. She likes Kacchan because he’s nice and because he doesn’t treat her like she’s fragile and because he made her cookies. And she knows Deku likes him a lot, too, so she knows it’s a good answer.
“Do you want to know a secret, Eri?” Deku smiles again. “Kacchan is my favorite, too.”
Or Katsuki makes it his business to befriend Eri, and realizes he has a lot in common with this traumatized kid.
