just tired and feeling low about the state of my country and the world right now so here's a little poem inspired by @OddPride on tiktok and all their talking about dinosaurs, and mass extinction events, and honestly this is mostly inspired by their whole entire philosophy/ view of life on this planet- beautiful and grounded and magical and hope eternal, even in the face of raining glass (their video on mass extinction events is incredible). Proving the poetry in science with every video- go check them out if youre into that stuff! (leagues beyond what dribble Ive attempted below lol)

Summary

Summary
Diana Fawley is many things. A pureblood, an explorer, a scholar, and a young woman with a strong sense of integrity. She's also grieving, confused, and searching for happiness wherever she can find it. Accepting the interim Ancient Runes position at Hogwarts, she hopes to get closer to her godson Harry Potter. But everything gets complicated when her ex-boyfriend escapes from Azkaban to hunt Harry down, and dark wizards begin targeting her for the ancient knowledge she’s spent years uncovering. As the threats against her grow, Diana finds herself forced to rely on Severus Snape, who used to be a good friend before he turned to the dark side. And why does she suddenly find herself not trusting Dumbledore as much as she used to?
This story will follow Diana's journey from Prisoner of Azkaban all the way to Deathly Hallows. It will mostly stick to cannon, but some of the events are going to be different, not only because they're from an adult's perspective, but also because Diana's own choices undoubtedly will affect how everything plays out.
There will be flashbacks to the Marauder's Era, there will be shenanigans, and there will be magic.

When Auror Potter is anonymously cursed with silence by being forced to hide his own voice inside his mind, there's unfortunately only one person in the country with the qualifications to fix it: Certified and Licensed Healer Legilimens, Draco Malfoy, specialist in Mind Curses and Afflictions. It's obviously a terrible idea, a disaster waiting to happen, but Draco's never been able to back down from a challenge... especially from Potter.
Features fuzzy cartoon slippers, devious house elves, 90s music, and lots—LOTS—of memories. Ron is annoyingly hot, Hermione sees right through you, Harry is a powerful idiot, and Draco is a reclusive masochist that would buy an entire city if it would make a kid happy. (And Pansy is "5'2, I wanna dance with you, and I'm sophisticated fun.")
