And he knew nothing but pain for a moment then a white plain. Hell, even his clothes were white now. “Feels like I’m in either a bad remake of the old Battlestar Galactica series or a bleach commercial.” He murmured to himself as he looked around.
A lone door appeared in front of him, “Said the spider to the fly. Or would that be ‘Welcome to my house! Enter freely and of your own will!’ Said Vlad Dracula to Johnathan Harker.” He tested the door before slowly turning the knob and opening it.
Finding a large plains set in light blue lighting (shiver…blue lighting….) and, there, in front of him, was the biggest, baddest, American Lion, Panthera leo atrox outside of a museum. Thirteen feet long and 1,000 pounds of pure muscle. Red spotted ruff and black spotted undercarriage with a back tipped tail. And buff colored body. Summary
EVERYONE, from Gibbs, to Vance to the Israelis under Eli and Ziva, seemed to forget that the old Presidential Administration was no longer in power as of January of that year. And that the new Admin had put all new people in as the Secretaries of the various departments. Or that the new people might not be as forgiving as the old.
Tony had not, in fact, forgotten this fact. And he even wonders if the other two who were eligible to vote on his team, did so, to be so ignorant of this fact.

The last time Tony saw Ziva, she was standing on a tarmac next to her father, face hard and bag in hand. After that, nothing - radio silence. Not a word, not an email, not a trace. They'd looked, and they'd come up empty every time. It was as if Ziva David had ceased to exist. After a while - for his own sanity - Tony stops looking.
Nearly thirty years later, sitting in a cafe in Trieste, he wishes he hadn't.
