This will be a much darker and grittier crime focused reimagining of the TV series Yellowstone, it will be feature darker subject matter and tell a more complex version of the story and characters , the villains and antagonists will be more fleshed out beyond corporate stooges, it will be better told as the Duttons are the heroes but rather portray each of them as complex anti heroes, it will be bolder and take more risks rather than playing it safe and tame, there will be a severe toning down of its mellow drama soap opera style that Sheridan turned it into.
Season One will be 13 chapters or episodes, it will combine and condense elements of both original shows first two seasons focusing on the Duttons story with both Dan Jenkins and the Beck Brothers, some original scenes might be reused or rewritten or completely removed and replaced
