Summary
Dazai faces an imminent threat to his life after standing between Chuuya Nakahara and a destructive lightning bolt during a joint mission between the Port Mafia and the Armed Detective Agency. Although he initially appeared to be unharmed, the lightning damage gradually begins to manifest, slowly affecting his vital organs.
Chuuya begins to notice strange behavior in Dazai, who disappears without warning and avoids any explanation.
In the Detective Agency it is also full of tension. Its members, especially Ranpo and Yosano, struggle with the helplessness of not being able to save a key member of their "family." As every second counts, uncertainty and desperation test the ties that bind them. Dazai Osamu is someone that people would describe as "lazy" after all it was Dazai, when after an "accident" he ended up in the hospital taken by his coworker to the hospital where there was someone he had not seen in two years after to graduate from boarding school
Chuuya Nakahara, someone who would be called "the ideal guy" after his breakup with Dazai, Osamu had no interest in getting back into a relationship when, after two years, he found him on a hospital stretcher.o:

Summary
Chuuya and Dazai are two young men struggling with the shadows of their past and present. Both carry deep scars, rarely showing them to others, yet their parallel paths seem inevitably drawn toward one another. Chuuya, dealing with resentment towards his distant father and burdened by the need to appear strong, lives with his brother Paul in a home where emotional warmth is scarce. Conversations with Kouyou, the school counselor, begin to reveal his inner vulnerability, showing that what he truly desires is to be understood and valued, though admitting his pain is difficult for someone who has always fought alone.
Dazai, on the other hand, carries the weight of a life marked by tragedy. His mother’s death left him with an indifferent father and a harsh boarding school life, where he faces constant bullying and silence whenever he reaches out for help. He hides his suffering behind sarcasm and charm, but within, he struggles with hopelessness, tempted by thoughts of giving up.

Dazai and Chuuya had been married for 4 years, although Dazai left the mafia at 18, they were still together, everything was improving until Dazai began to notice Chuuya distant, not knowing that doing this would simply try to talk to Chuuya.

Summary
He tuned out Fukuzawa' speech. He didn't need to listen to know what had happened: Fukuzawa had needed a favour; Mori-san had had the power to grant it. For the right price, of course.
Didn't take him much to add everything up and find the right answer: there was only one thing that the Agency had that could interest the Port Mafia. He felt Ranpo-san's eyes on him, and stubbornly didn't raise his to meet them.
He feebly wondered who Mori-san had named, in the end. Like it mattered, really.
Ah, Odasaku, he thought. You'd be very proud of me, now.
He got up, and everybody turned to him. He pointed to himself.
“I volunteer.”
(Or, the Agency pays its debt.)
