The reaction is immediate and merciless. Dustin makes a dramatic gagging noise. El gasps like she’s been handed gossip gold. Lucas high-fives Max, shaking her hand in his.
Mike doesn’t say anything. He just watches Will, watches the way he shrugs it off, the way he laughs a little too loud, the way his ears go red.
Or, Will's new boyfriend is a bad kisser. Mike thinks it's a crime that no one has kissed Will properly. He's on a goal to change that, Carlton be damned.

Bruce hadn't cried in almost eighteen years, but tonight, he was about to break that streak.

Seong Gi Hun knew as soon as he opened his eyes that morning that something was wrong. The sun's rays itself were blue; cold; icy, and it felt like as soon as his eyelashes fluttered open, a cold, icy hand had curled around his neck and was pressing insistently, like a harsh reminder of how close death could be here, a drop of poison was dropped on his tongue, he couldn't speak. He didn't want to. Fear was a tendril that slithered up his spine and he felt like he was being pulled down and underwater....
That was until he heard a knock on the door. Sharp, punctual; and then the door opened to dark brown eyes that no longer ran red with bloodlust. His fur was brushed away from his face ahnd his stern expression melted into one of minute worry; bringing Gi Hun back to reality.
"Seong Gi Hun, join me for breakfast this morning." He murmured, the low gravel of his voice spilled across the room and buried itself deep in his stomach, which was curiously tingling in response.
The sun was a soft orange now, no longer blue.
All Gi Hun could do was nod, his mouth partway open. His neck ached from the movement.

Jun-ho, torn between family loyalty and a new friend, tells Gi-hun a secret. It goes about as well as expected, which is to say incredibly well for Gi-hun, but disastrously bad for Jun-ho.
Or, Jun-ho adopts Gi-hun as his brother and spends the rest of his life trying to keep him out of his murderous brother’s clutches. It's not going very well, but nobody can say he isn't trying.
