Lambo arrived loud and unexpected as thunder and went away quite and fast as lightning leaving a gapping, smoldering hole in the hearths of the Vongola Tenth Generation where their youngest member used to be.
They didn’t even notice they were making the exact same mistake as their predecessors did. They drove away their youngest member in almost the exact same way the arcobaleno did with cutting words, disdaining looks and violence never bothering to look beyond their raucous actions and arrogant demeanor.
Some would wonder why they never questioned how someone who had been trained to be a hitman by his Familiga from the tender age of two would be so loud and obnoxious instead of quiet and calculating but somehow these obvious questions seemed to fly above their heads, some would blame it on most of them coming from civilian backgrounds but in the end it led to the same result all the same.

Superman sat down in his chair and a moment later, black hands appeared to materialize out of his shadow, settling on his shoulders. A shape slowly pulled itself out of his shadow, seeming to need a moment to flow and solidify. It pushed itself upward, seeming to “perch” on Superman’s shoulders as it took in the room. The shaped vaguely resembled a man, but the proportions and angles were … wrong. It had tall bat-like ears and the only parts of it that were not black as pitch, was it’s corpse coloured skin, and blank, white, glowing eyes.

——-The creatures gaze darted between the various heroes, unsettlingly, as it shifted slightly on it’s perch.
“Aren’t you a little concerned that it- he” green lantern corrected himself “is called a demon?”
“I’ve known Batman for close to 20 years now and he hasn’t dragged me down to the depths of hell.” Superman’s smile stretched slightly too-wide, showing too many too perfect teeth.
“Maybe he’s not a threat to you” green arrow said “But how do we know he’s not a threat to us?”
Superman laughed, his bright jovial tone contrasting with the monster on his shoulders. He causally waved them off “He won’t hurt you unless you hurt him or his people.” The Batman huffed at this and moved so that his cape was draped over Superman’s face “blocking” his vision. Superman reached up and patted him on the head, the Batman leaning into the gesture and purring.
The strange creature had apparently decided that the league was no threat to it. No longer paying them any heed, he started to groom Superman’s hair. Superman didn’t flinch, as razer sharp claws that glinted in the light of the meeting room were carded carefully though his hair.
